This product is a comprehensive 41-page packet focusing on PLACES IN MY COMMUNITY, designed for students in kindergarten, first, and second grade. It includes various activities aimed at reinforcing learning and engagement:

• Writing and tracing activities to reinforce literacy skills.

• Practice activities for six themed words: school. church, hospital, playground, post office, store

• Color anchor chart, label the picture, cut and paste activities, tracing, and coloring exercises related to themed words.

• Engaging tasks like spelling words using numbers based on a phone keypad, rolling dice and writing words, and matching pictures to words.

It is very important to have everything ready before you bring your students into each activity. For most of the activities, students will just need their regular school items and this set of worksheets to work. However, for some activities you will need further materials:

• For the “roll and write” activity, you will need a die.

•For the write the room activity, I recommend you to place the posters included in this set around the classroom (they can be printed on card stock and laminated). Also, students may need a clipboard while walking around the classroom and recording their words.

• For the word work/spell with numbers activity, I have included a page that shows the code on a telephone keypad. (two versions: uppercase/lowercase)
